Question 1: How does the dimmer works? Can I use Alexa to dim it?
Answer 1: There is a switch in the cord, simply press it to adjust brightness or color.
This cabinet light only support turning on/off or time schedule with smart plug that controlled by Alexa, but color or brightness can NOT controlled with voice command.
Question 2: Do I need to adjust the color or brightness every time turn it on?
Answer 2: NO. With memory function, it saves the brightness you set and back to the same setting when power back on.
Question 3: Is the USB light bar required to be plugged in or rechargeable?
Answer 3: This led light bar has to be plugged in with the USB port, it is NOT rechargeable.
